Sydney Meader, a senior on the University of Maine field hockey team and the all-time leading scorer for the Boothbay Region Region High School field hockey program, is second on the Black Bears’ points list eight games into the 2021 season.

Meader has two goals and three assists on the season for seven points (players are credited for two points per goal).

Brooke Sulinski, a graduate student from Old Town for the Black Bears, leads the team with seven goals and 14 points.

UMaine is currently 3-5 on the season.
