Cheney Financial Group is hosting three fun summer events to support and showcase local artists, local musicians, local food, brews and wine.

The first event will be held Thursday, July 11, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Newcastle Realty, 87 Main Street, Damariscotta. Artist Lisa Kyle will exhibit her paintings and live music will be by Smokey McKeen, Carter Newell and Eric Rolfson of The Oystermen. Taste Damariscotta River oysters from Pemaquid Oyster Co. and sample specialty pizza and tacos by Amanda Sprague and Joe Yost from their VIP Pizza truck. Local brew tastings will be provided by Boothbay Craft Brewery.

The next two summer series events will spotlight different artists and food vendors and will be held Thursday; Aug. 15 and Sept. 12.
