Bring together Steve Jones, Scott Elliot and Paul Mellyn, three of Maine’s best musicians, and what do you get? Scotty River Trio and an evening guaranteed to be filled with great music from multiple genres and a bit of good fun from these three on stage.
The Trio will be appearing at the Opera House in Boothbay Harbor on Friday, Dec. 11 at 7 p.m. Familiar blues, country, rock, bluegrass, Cajun, folk, and some of their own material will fill the Opera House.
As with all Opera House concerts this season, seating is strictly limited, and all seating is by reservation only. No walk up ticket sales on the night of the concert permitted. Seating is socially-distanced, masks are required for all attending the event and the windows will be kept open to increase air exchange within the performance space. This concert is more akin to an outdoor concert, albeit one under a roof. Wear a warm jacket, bring a blanket and gloves. Doors and the Opera House bar open at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the 7 p.m. show are $20 for all ages and must be purchased in advance through the box office. No online sales. Call 633-5159 or stop by the Opera House at 86 Townsend Ave. Wednesday through Friday between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
This is not a holiday themed concert, but we guarantee it will put you in good spirits this season as the band performs against the backdrop of the beautifully decorated historic Opera House.
Those interested in attending a holiday concert may purchase reservations for Castlebay – A Yuletide Celebration, on Thursday, Dec. 17 at 7 p.m.
