Lisbon scored a come-from-behind, 58-54, victory over Boothbay Friday night in the 2025-26 schoolboy basketball season opener. Boothbay built an 11-point lead in the first quarter before Lisbon rallied and only trailed, 16-13 after one quarter.

Again, Boothbay built a six-point lead in the third quarter, but the Greyhounds rallied, and ultimately prevailed. Simeon Bates was the Seahawks' leading scorer with 23. Other Seahawk scorers were Harry Hinckley, 10; Peyton Barter, 7; Chase Licursi, 6; Ethan Clark, 4; and Aiden Locke, 2. 

Boothbay (0-1) travels to North Yarmouth Tuesday, Dec. 9 for a contest against the Panthers.
