Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Two arrests

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total of 434 calls between July 31 and Aug. 7. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,144 calls for service.

Summonses

Alan B. Cheney, 77, of Bristol was issued a summons July 31 for Operating after Suspension, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Sgt. Mark Bridgham.

Shane Brooks, 27, of Richmond was issued a summons Aug. 2 for Criminal Threatening and Criminal Mischief, on Mahan Road, Bristol, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Michael J. Bradley, 52, of Bristol was issued a summons Aug. 6 for Leaving Scene of Motor Vehicle Accident/Aggravated, on Rial Herald Road, Bremen, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.

Arrests

Shane M. Hamilton, 21, of Nobleboro was arrested Aug. 1 on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for Failure to Appear, on Roberts Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Mavrick Time, 29, of Edgecomb was arrested Aug. 5 for Domestic Violence Assault and Domestic Violence Criminal Threatening, on Eddy Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.

Accidents

On July 31, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Gina E. Perry, 59, of Emerald Island, North Carolina. Ms. Perry was operating her 2018 Jeep Renegade southbound when a metal object, a piece of a vehicle’s leaf spring, struck the front hood/grille area. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 1, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Gregory R. Schwartz, 50, of Newton, Massachusetts and Suzanne R. Laurencell, 69, of St. Petersburg, Florida. Ms. Laurencell was operating her 2010 Honda Civic southbound on Route 1 and Mr. Schwartz was making a left turn from Boothbay Road onto Route 1 in his 2016 Honda Pilot. Schwartz did not see Laurencell’s vehicle and struck it. Deputy First Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 1, an accident occurred on Clark’s Cove Road in South Bristol involving Fiona M. Harper, 46, of Winter Park, Florida. Ms. Harper had parked her 2018 Dodge in the parking lot of the Darling Marine Center when an unknown vehicle struck the rear, causing damage. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 2, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Newcastle involving Annie B. Elliott, 70, of Waldoboro and Franklin L. Smith, 65, of Jefferson. Ms. Elliott was operating her 2012 Subaru Outback southbound behind Mr. Smith’s 2008 Dodge, who was also traveling southbound. Smith started making a right turn and Elliott thought he was turning left and began to pass in the breakdown lane. As a result, Smith struck Elliott’s vehicle. Sgt. Alan Shea was the investigating officer.

On Aug. 3, an accident occurred on West Alna Road in Wiscasset involving Abel J. Lang, 45, of Alna. Mr. Lang was operating his 2008 Hummer northbound when he struck a deer crossing the roadway from east to west, causing damage to the front of his vehicle. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.
