Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 230 calls for service between March 12 and March 19. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,593 calls for service.
Gail A. Pomerlau, 54, of Damariscotta was issued a summons March 16 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked – Prior and Attaching False Plates, on Atlantic Hwy, Waldoboro, by Detective Scott Hayden.
Stephanie L. Smith, 28, of Augusta was issued a summons March 16 for Operating while License is Suspended or Revoked, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Deputy Alonzo Connor.
Regina M. Villacci, 25, of Dresden was issued a summons March 17 for Operating with a Suspended Registration, on Washington Road, Jefferson, by Sgt. Mark Bridgham.
Nathaniel R. Olson, 19, of Damariscotta was arrested March 17 for Operating under the Influence; Possession of Marijuana and Minor Having Liquor on Person, on Lewis Hill Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
On March 12, an accident occurred on Academy Hill in Newcastle involving Madison R. Tilas, 17, of Nobleboro. Ms. Tilas was operating her 2007 Nissan Versa eastbound when she entered the snow on the shoulder of the road. As a result, she lost control of her vehicle and drove off the road on the right side where she hit a small cluster of trees, before coming to rest. Deputy Chase Bosse was the investigating officer.
On March 12, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Dylan A. Lavoie, 25, of Augusta; Carl M. Laslie, 64, of Windsor and Robert M. Dardis, 29, of Newcastle. Mr. Dardis was operating his 2000 Ford Excursion northbound on the Middle Road when he rear-ended Mr. Laslie’s 2015 GMC Terrain, which was pushed into the rear end of Mr. Lavoie’s 2003 Nissan Maxima. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.
On March 15, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Frederick A. Best, 70, of Manchester. Mr. Best was operating his 2008 Audi Q7 northbound when he hit a deer crossing the road, causing front damage to his vehicle. Deputy Alonzo Connor was the investigating officer.
