Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: One arrest

    The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 140 calls for service for the period of Nov. 23 to Nov. 30. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,271 calls for service.

    Arrest

    Joshua R. Lund, 33, of Whitefield was arrested Nov. 27 for Domestic Violence Assault, on South Hunts Meadow Road, Whitefield, by Deputy Jerold Winslow.

    Accidents

    On Nov. 23, an accident occurred on Augusta Road in Jefferson involving Sandra J. Arsenault, 65, of Northborough, Massachusetts. Ms. Arsenault was operating her 2019 GMC Acadia westbound when a deer ran into the driver’s side front and rear door of her vehicle. Detective Terry Michaud was the investigating officer.

    On Nov. 23, an accident occurred on Wiscasset Road in Boothbay involving Kaitlin M. Orne, 28, of Edgecomb. Ms. Orne was operating her 2020 Subaru Forester southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the southbound ditch and was struck. Sgt. Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.

    On Nov. 23, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Adam J. Krawic, 43, of Nobleboro. Mr. Krawic was operating his 2016 Dodge Ram15 southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the east and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

    On Nov 23, an accident occurred at the Nobleboro Transfer Station involving Eli Chamberlain, 58, of Damariscotta and Martha Scudder, 86, of Damariscotta. Mr. Chamberlain was backing his 2011 GMC Sierra into a stall to unload trash. Ms. Scudder had stopped her 2011 Subaru Outback waiting and could not see because of the sun, when she accelerated and hit the back of Chamberlain’s vehicle. Detective Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.

    On Nov. 24, an accident occurred on Back Narrows Road in Boothbay involving Lawrence W. Sullivan, 83, of Boothbay and Jason E. Orchard, 51, of Boothbay. Mr. Sullivan was operating his 2006 BMW x5 southbound, following Mr. Orchard, who was riding a bicycle. The sun was low and in the view of the drivers. Mr. Sullivan did not see the bicyclist as he crested the hill, and as a result, he struck Mr. Orchard’s elbow with the mirror of his vehicle. Detective Sgt. Ronald Rollins was the investigating officer.

    On Nov. 26, an accident occurred on US Route 1 in Nobleboro involving Martha A. Milliman-Takatsu, 63, of Nobleboro. Ms. Milliman-Takatsu was operating her 2019 Dodge Ram northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the eastside and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

    On Nov. 28, an accident occurred on Route 32 in Bremen involving Kaitlyn M. Kelley, 28, of Damariscotta. Ms. Kelley was operating her 2018 Toyota Highlander southbound when she came around a corner and lost control of her vehicle. As a result, she over corrected and went into the northbound ditch, where her vehicle then rolled over. Detective Terry Michaud was the investigating officer.
