Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office: Four arrests

Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to a total of 189 calls between April 18 and April 24. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 4,612 calls for service.

On April 18, Reserve Deputy Michael Elwell responded to a report of a theft of a wooden bench (value: $200) and an old 4-foot anchor (value: $250) from the Pemaquid Lighthouse park in Bristol. The last time the items were seen were around the end of the season in 2017. Further investigation if leads develop.


Kodi E. Merrill, 32, of Newcastle was issued a summons April 19 for Operating while License Suspended/Revoked – OUI, prior, on North Newcastle Road, Newcastle, by Det. Sgt. Ronald Rollins.


Tucker J. Lewis, 24, of Boothbay was arrested April 18 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Butler Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.

Jason P. Trundy, 35, of Winterport was arrested April 19 for Violating Condition of Release, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Detective Scott Hayden.

William L. Rogers, 45, of Edgecomb was arrested April 21 for Operating under the Influence, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.

Joel E. Beauregard, Jr., 37, of Somerville was arrested April 23 for Domestic Violence Assault, on Patricktown Road, Somerville, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck on behalf of Detective Jared Mitkus.


On April 18, an accident occurred on River Road in Newcastle involving Alissa A. Sprague, 36, of Damariscotta. Ms. Sprague operating her 2008 Dodge Avenger southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the west side and was struck. Sgt. Matthew Day was the investigating officer.

On April 19, an accident occurred on North Newcastle Road in Newcastle involving Kodi E. Merrill, 32, of Newcastle. Mr. Merrill was operating his 2012 Ford Focus northbound when he went off the roadway on the right side and into a ditch. His vehicle continued northbound and sideswiped a tree on the passenger front side. Det. Sgt. Ronald Rollins was the investigating officer.

On April 21, an accident occurred on Snowball Hill Road in Bristol involving Kevin J. Nisbet, 47, of New Harbor. Mr. Nisbet was operating his 2016 Ford F150 eastbound when a deer crossed the road in front of him and was struck. His vehicle sustained minor damage to the grill area. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.

On April 22, an accident occurred on Route 215 in Newcastle involving Francis Meehan, 76, of Jefferson. Mr. Meehan was operating his 2015 Subaru Outback northbound, near West Hamlet Road when two deer entered the roadway from the right hand side and struck the car in the right front corner. The deer then ran off into a field. Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner was the investigating officer.

On April 22, an accident occurred on Anderson Road in Bremen involving Kerrith M. Stapp, 52, of Bremen. Ms. Stapp was operating her 2011 Toyota Sienna southbound when she stated she fell asleep and drove off the road on the right side. As a result, her vehicle went partially up an embankment and struck a large mailbox. Deputy Caleb Poirier was the investigating officer.
