The Lincoln Academy Eagles came back from a 10-point halftime deficit to defeat the visiting Boothbay Region Seahawks, 55-48, on Friday, Feb. 26.

The Seahawks led 31-21 at the half but the Eagles shut down Boothbay's offense in the second half, holding them to single digit scoring in both quarters, while getting their offense going, especially in the fourth quarter as they outscored the visitors 21-8 to get the win.

Glory Blethen again led Boothbay (4-7) in scoring with 25 points. She made good on six 3-pointers. Margret Sledge added 12 points and Jaelyn Crocker had six.

Lincoln Academy was led by Maddy York with 18 points (two 3-pointers), followed by Grace Houghton with 13 and Paige Lafferayne with nine.
