Dear Editor:

Smith Climo (Letters, 9/3) urges his “many Democratic friends” to do what is “best for America” by casting a vote for Trump.

Really?

Mr. Climo seems to believe that an admitted sexual predator, racist, white supremacist, science denier, COVID-19 pandemic denier, tax cheat, advocate of voter suppression, best friend of Putin … [the list could go on and on] is what is best for our democracy. I suspect his “many Democratic friends” will disagree.

These are not matters of “style, tweets or persona” as Mr. Climo would have us believe. These are matter of character and a complete lack of morality.

Mr Climo: I am happy to talk. Please tell me and your “many Democratic friends” what we are missing about this man. I am happy to tell you what you are missing.
