Featuring John M. T. Seitzer.’s oil paintings depicting the fierce dramatic beauty of rocky cliffs met by ocean, trees holding ground against nature, vibrant sunsets and in contrast-the serenity of calm sunlit days. 

John has been painting most of his life. He has chosen a path of continued exploration in subject matter, technique and color palette. This is evidenced by his ever changing body of work. Within this new exhibit you will discover bold knife works, soft impressionistic waterscapes, moody tonal scenes  and a bit of whimsey. There are many who dabble in style but few who are as accomplished as John in moving between techniques. 

To sum it up-his imagery exemplifies the ever-changing beauty of Maine.

Joy To The Wind Gallery artists John and Lynne Seitzer are hosting a First Friday Art Tour open house Friday, July 3 from 5 to 7 p.m. at their gallery located at 34 Atlantic Ave. on the East side of the historic footbridge across from the Oceanside Inn.
