It’s a Bob Dylan Poetry Slam!
At first the world (and likely Bob Dylan himself) was shocked to learn he had been awarded the prestigious 2016 Nobel Prize in Literature for POETRY! Yes, poetry. You know his music. The Bob Dylan Poetry Slam recognizes the songwriter as a masterful poet when local celebrities present his work through creative interpretation - without singing – Tuesday, March 14 from 7-9 p.m.
Watch as local celebrities put their own spin on the lyrics. Vote on the best presentation! Join us for a special event to help raise money for the Chocolate Church’s 40th Anniversary in the cozy Curtis Room in the church annex. There will be refreshments and debut of the Chocolate Church specialty beverage. $15 per person. Reserved tables (with seating for 8) $150.
