Tuesday, Nov. 15, the BRHS Interact Club had Representative Holly Stover come to their meeting and explain all that the Community Resource Council does; Stover explained that the CRC is unique to our community.

She explained all that the CRC does to help within our community. These activities included the Woodchucks, Set for Success, Boothbay Rides, Addiction Outreach, Community Fuel Fund, Food for Thought, the Community Navigator, and the Community Fridge. Stover also stated that only two other communities in our state have a Community Fridge. Kittery and Skowhegan, more urban areas than Boothbay, have Community Fridges to help people in their regions. The students of the Interact Club donated non-perishables to the Community Fridge to help provide goods for families in need.

At this month's meeting, the Interact Club wrote holiday cards for the citizens at St. Andrews Village. The members of the club did this to ensure that no one would feel alone during the holiday season. Members wrote over 30 cards to the community members at St. Andrews.
