Dear Editor:

Getting a bill passed to expand treatment for opioid use, participating in the bipartisan effort to support Maine families, workers, and businesses during the Covid pandemic, and along with Chloe Maxmin, Holly Stover, who cosponsored the resolution, received 100% ratings on votes to support state workers.

Holly introduced the ban of single use plastic bags to help maintain Maine’s ecosystem.

Holly was appointed to serve on the Commission to Study Long-term Care Workforce Issues. She recognizes the dire need for staffing to provide much needed care for our growing senior population.

Holly continues to be a leader in advocating for state funding to address domestic violence and sexual assault services.

If you want to see how dearly Holly loves this community, check out her website, stover.mainecandidate.com

She cares about and works toward improving health care, workforce development, renewable and sustainable energy, and safe and affordable housing.

If you want to see all the ways Holly is continuously involved in all aspects of the community, view her Facebook page. You’ll see that she is dedicated to everyone in the community. She not only gives a voice to the voiceless, she lifts up everyone by recognizing our humanity and promoting that dignity be afforded to all people.

I admire and am inspired by Holly Stover. She has unquestionably proven her that she is here to represent all of her constituents.
