Holiday Gifts For Giving begins Nov. 18

    So you’ve drawn up your holiday presents list – and there are probably a few birthdays and maybe even an anniversary in there, too – and you are ready to rock and roll? Don’t miss this year’s Holiday Gifts For Giving Friday through Sunday beginning Nov. 18 (also Early Bird Sale & PJ Party day), from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    This show brings some of the region’s most talented artists, artisans, weavers, authors and potters; makers of natural medicinal and skin care products; honey and more, together on the first floor of Studio 53 in Boothbay Harbor.

    Here’s what gift ideas await thanks to the following creatives in the Boothbay region:

    Artists: Elise Andersen/Andersen Studio. Hand-crafted artwork in ceramic, fiber, paintings and prints; Andre Benoit, Plein air painter, assemblist Sculptor using repurposed wood; John Butke, paintings inspired by Maine landscapes' ever- changing colors and forms.

    Fiber and fabric artists: Jill Butke, Fiber artist/weaver. Uniquely woven cotton and wool wearables; Julie Herodes, artist/painter. Original hand-painted silk wearable art; Leslie Muir-Volpe, Fiber artist miniature quilts, punch needle embroidery, unique fabric keepsakes; June Rose, Folk Artist/poet. "Over the Top Hats" hand-made, one-of-a-kind; Ursula Smith, Weaver. Hand-woven textiles for the home.

    Pottery: Ann Hedgcock, Artist/potter. High-fired stoneware and porcelain - functional, whimsical and sculptural.

    Jewelry: Jessica Sirois, Metalsmith/jeweler/fiber artist. Handmade one of a kind jewelry and fiber art; Jane Good/Cute as a Button. Vintage button jewelry; special orders available with your heirloom buttons.

Luxurious, all-natural goat milk soap and lotion; Martha Cowdery/Michael Tomko, Artisans/creators Maine-inspired, unique, locally sourced sea glass creations, and original hand-painted floor cloths; Sanny Norton, Beach stone and sea glass jewelry, stone fairy houses, hand painted tables.

    Author/Printmaker: Betsy Wing, Author and visual artist - specializing in fiction and monotype prints.

    Show date weekends: Nov. 18-20; Nov. 25-27, and Dec. 1-4.
