An evening for the senses
Get your tickets now, for it will be a night to remember Thursday, July 21 from 5-9 p.m., when Boothbay Region Land Trust (BRLT) entertains guests during Taste for Place: Wine Tasting and Boat Cruise. The unforgettable adventure will include amazing wine, food, and a boat excursion from Newagen Seaside Inn to Linekin Bay Resort that will showcase the beautiful service area of the land trust.
The evening will begin at Newagen Seaside Inn, where guests will be greeted by Sommelier Erica Archer of Portland’s Winewise. Archer will guide guests through an experience for the senses with delectable eats crafted by Executive Chefs Peter Stiles and Brian Hough, and high quality wines provided by Central Distributors. This is simply the kick-off to the evening, for a boat provided by Balmy Days Cruises will await attendees at the Inn’s pier.
Once aboard the vessel, guests will first be routed by Damariscove Island for a glimpse of the stunning BRLT preserve before landing at Linekin Bay Resort. Visitors will be some of the first to see improvements to the Resort since ownership was taken over by Newagen Seaside Inn’s Scott Larson and Steve Malcom of Knickerbocker Group. Guests will gather in the lodge for more wine, food and building of their tasting knowledge with the sommelier, before returning to Newagen Seaside Inn by boat.
