Dr. Ron Bouffard, “the Boothbay Chiropractor” for the past 25 years has announced he is taking a leave of absence from the practice to immerse himself in a clinical practice of functional nutrition in Chicago.
Bouffard has been studying functional nutrition for the past five years and has recently become a board-certified clinical nutritionist and chiropractic intern. He has been offered a tremendous opportunity to develop his skills under a mentor in the Chicago based clinics of “Aligned Modern Health.” He hopes to continue to improve his skills and return to his home practice in Boothbay with renewed abilities to better serve this community.
Dr. Brady Fergola, a native of Rumford, Maine, will be taking over for Bouffard while he is away. His level of skill and understanding of the human form and biomechanics makes him the perfect successor to Bouffard. He began as an undergraduate at the University of Maine, Orono and completed his degree as an athletic trainer. He then pursued his chiropractic degree and graduated in May of 2019. Fergola uses similar techniques that Bouffard has used in his practice which makes him a very suitable practitioner for the office. He can provide the same quality and care that you have come to expect from “The Boothbay Chiropractor.”
Bouffard’s last day in Boothbay will be Jan. 16. If you are scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Bouffard any time after that date, you will automatically be rescheduled with Dr. Fergola.
