Donations appreciated for 22 Days of May

Boothbay Region High School Class of 2022 has finished celebrating its 22 Days of May with seniors going home with their Senior Surprise Bags, which are filled with fun and useful donations from local businesses. 

Items include hats and candy from Maine & Ivy, a free bag of popcorn from Coastal Maine Popcorn, extra large cookies from Boothbay Region Elementary School/BRHS food services, cupcakes and gift cards from Farm 23, gift cards and candy from Newcastle Realty, gift cards from Brisetto’s, custom candy bars and discounts from A & C Creations BBH, student-made graduation cards from BRES students, gas gift cards to Good ’N You from BRHS Boosters, and discounts from Ice Cream Hut.

In support of other activities, Larry and Mary Knapp provided fish and slickers for the Cod Fish Relay Race for the Fishermen’s Festival Senior Field Day. The First & Boothbay Harbor Apparel provided Class of 2022 T-shirts and tie-dye kits for Field Day. Pier 1 Pizza provided pizza for Field Day; Balmy Days hosted the Senior Sunset Cruise. Harborside 1901 catered breakfast for the Senior Sunrise Breakfast. Robinson’s Wharf hosted the Senior Sunrise Breakfast. Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library gave students the opportunity for a book dedication. And Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens gave students free admission for an afternoon.
