CTL hosts teachers’ learning

The Center for Teaching and Learning, a K-8 independent school in Edgecomb, has hosted its first group of teacher-interns for the 2019-20 year. For 29 years, teachers have visited Edgecomb for a week at a time to observe methods developed by CTL’s faculty and adapt them to their schools.
Teachers from 45 states, Washington, D.C.; and Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ecuador, England, India, Japan, the Philippines, Taiwan, and Uganda have participated so far in the program. Only classroom teachers may apply to become interns; the fee they pay helps underwrite tuition assistance for CTL students.
