Dear Editor:

“Would you like a chocolate chip cookie?” a lovely woman offered me home-baked cookies from her basket as I waited for a prescription in Walgreens on Monday.

There surely are “angels among us,” and they live right here in Boothbay Harbor. Thank you, kind baker. The cookie was out of this world!
