Dear Editor:

Very disappointed to note the omission by the Register of the recognition extended to the Thistle Inn’s restaurant, having been voted number four amongst restaurants nominated on USA Today’s Top Ten listing in the category Best Hotel Restaurant in the country. This is a significant accomplishment that should not have been overlooked by your reporting staff. Dick and Anya as well as dedicated Thistle employees have worked hard to achieve such a standing. Shame on you for missing such an opportunity to congratulate a local business receiving national recognition.
