The first Community Lunch of the season will be held on Thursday, Nov. 7 from 11:30 a.m to 12:45 p.m. As many of you know, lunches are offered every Thursday each month from fall to spring at St. Columba’s Episcopal Church at 32 Emery Lane in Boothbay Harbor. A meal of soup, bread, dessert and beverages is prepared in turn by groups from area churches and a service club. This year members from the Boothbay Harbor Congregational Church, the Boothbay Harbor Methodist Church, the East Boothbay Methodist Church, the Southport Methodist Church, St. Columba’s Episcopal Church, and, new this year, the Anchor Church and the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club will prepare and serve the weekly meals.

Lunches are free of charge. Any freewill donations will be given to the Boothbay Region Food Pantry. All are welcome to come to enjoy the good food and fine fellowship offered each week.
