Wednesday, April 12
While some of the signs of spring are obvious, like longer daylight and warming temperatures, some are less noticeable, such as the swelling of buds on trees and the return of frogs and salamanders to our vernal pools. Discover the signs of spring during a slow-paced 1-mile walk through field and forest, alongside a freshwater pond and tidal inlets from 10 to 11 a.m. Hike at Oak Point Farm, 60 Samoset Road, Boothbay Harbor. Free, but registration required. Complete the form at https://bbrlt.org/event/signs-of-spring-hike-2 or call the Boothbay Region Land Trust at 207-633-4818.
