The Boothbay Region High School Interact Club held its fifth annual spaghetti supper at the Rotary Club of Boothbay Harbor March 19. Around 20 club members came out to cook, clean and serve, to raise money and awareness for the Student Aid Fund.
“We’ve done it every year since I was a freshman,” said Interact president Hali Goodwin. “All the profits go toward the SAF, so it’s really nice considering that this functions to bring in money just for the fund.”
The SAF raises money to offset many BRHS alumni’s financial burdens of college or university, technical school, trade school or other professional training.
