On Sunday morning, Oct. 24, the Boothbay Harbor Rotary Club and the Rotary High School Interact Club painted the United States map at Boothbay Region Elementary School. The morning started out cool, but the sun warmed us as we applied almost seven gallons of colorful paint making the map. We all learned a lot about the United States: where each state was, how big Texas is, how colorful is New England. A fun project for a cool fall morning.
