Boothbay Region Elementary School Principal Shawna Kurr announced students will be dismissed at 11 a.m. June 8. 

“Due to the projected forecast for tomorrow's temperatures, our classroom afternoon temperatures today, and the additional requirement to maintain mask-wearing inside, we believe for the health and safety of our students it will be best to dismiss them at 11 a.m.”

Boothbay Region High School will also be dismissed at 11 a.m. as previously planned, said Kurr.
