What could be more fun than Christmas shopping with Audrey Hepburn at Tiffany’s?

That’s the subject of December’s classic film at Harbor Theater, showing Thursday, Dec. 20 and Saturday, Dec. 22. Both shows are at 2 p.m. Tickets at the door: $10 (no discounts)

The 1961 romantic comedy, starring Audrey Hepburn as Holly Golightly, is the perfect antidote to Christmas stress. Take a stroll through Tiffany’s diamond department with Holly, a deliciously eccentric New York City playgirl bent on finding a millionaire husband. But, as luck would have it, she falls for her next-door neighbor (George Peppard), a struggling writer who is being “kept” by a wealthy patron (Patricia Neal). The film is based on Truman Capote’s novella, and is set to Henry Mancini's memorable Oscar-winning score, including the Johnny Mercer song “Moon River.”

Free popcorn and water for the movie; complimentary Christmas eggnog and cookies afterwards. Join your friends to see this seasonal favorite on the big screen. Running time is 1 hour and 54 minutes.

The Harbor Theater is at 185 Townsend Avenue in Boothbay Harbor.
