The Boothbay Region YMCA has carefully re-opened the Y and is now safely and slowly resuming limited Indoor healthy living classes, Personal Training and Water Aerobics. The reopening process has been thoroughly considered by the Y to ensure the safety of its members and staff.
Each indoor class will be limited in number, so please call the Y and speak to a member of the staff, on the day before to reserve a spot. For Monday classes, please call on Saturday.
While the Y is resuming some indoor classes, at the same time the Y will maintain almost all its virtual and online offerings, as well as free to all Friday outdoor classes on the Boothbay Common.
Upon arrival at the Y, please check in at the desk. Classes will spread out, with 14 feet around each participant. The Y has also designed the new indoor schedule with more time between classes to help create better social distancing.
Yoga, Zumba, Aerobics and Seniors in Motion will be held in the gym. Cycling and Boxing for Parkinson’s will be inside on court #1 of the Field House and, Aqua classes will be in the pool. Tai Chi’s smaller numbers will be in the Coastal Club room.
