Seniors met on March 13 with 19 members attending. There were several absentees due to illness. Hope to see you all soon.

Vice president Ellen Williams brought the meeting to order, starting with a pledge to the flag and the Lord’s Prayer. The treasurer’s report was given by Debbie Mullen. Ellen reported on the cards sent to members and “Happy Birthday” was sung to Nickie Winslow.

A discussion of by-laws followed. There were several suggestions of changes to the by-laws. We decided not to have our election of officers because of the low attendance. Hopefully we will be able to vote at our next meeting March 27.

Lunch included an assortment of pizza provided by Hometown Convenience, salads and desserts provided by some of the members.

We hope to see a lot more people and members at our next meeting. People age 50 and older are welcome. Come out and enjoy talking with your friends and neighbors. Our regular cook will be returning at our next meeting.

We will be planning our spring trip soon so join us for a fun time. Meetings start at 11:30 a.m. at the Boothbay Fire Station, but please arrive by 11 a.m. to check in. Dues are $2 a year. For more information, call Ellen at 633-4205.
