Boothbay Region says goodbye to 7 senior boys basketball players

It wasn’t their last home game, but for seven Boothbay Region boys basketball team members, Feb. 8 was a night for recognizing them and their parents’ past dedication to the program. Each senior was presented with a flower by the coaching staff which was later presented by individual team members to their family. 

Gavin Carlson, manager, was a member of the program for four years. He plans on attending college in Iowa to study sports medicine and management. He is the son of Charlinda and Matt Carlson.

Nase Lawless was a member of the program for four years. He plans on attending college and studying criminal justice. He is the son of Karen Lawless. 

Ashton McLellan was a member of the program for three years. He plans on becoming a welder after graduation. He is the son of Shelley Murray and Zach McLellan. 

Jordan Carrier was a member of the program for three years. He plans on working as an electrician after graduation. He is the son of Shannon Leeman and Marc Carrier.

Sam Page was a member of the program for four years. He plans on attending the University of Maine and studying engineering. He is the son of Lisa and Neal Page.

Matt Sullivan was a member of the program for four years. He plans on attending Maine Maritime Academy in its small vessel program. He is the son of Kathryn and Peter Sullivan.

Lucas Hardwick was a member of the program for four years. He plans to attend college and study engineering. He is the son of Haili and Scott Hardwick.
