    Mark this stop on your August First Friday Art Tour and dip into Boothbay’s rich maritime history.

    Join us in the Great Room at Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library on Friday, Aug. 5, 5 to 7 p.m. for a special viewing of the Boothbay Region Maritime Foundation Research Collection Photo Show. Deanne Tibbetts, president of the Boothbay Region Maritime Foundation, and Kathy Goldner, director of the Boothbay Region Historical Society will be present to answer questions about the creation of the community sourced digital archive.

    The research collection is a community sourced digital archive of commercial fishing and working waterfront photos from the Boothbay region's past and its present. Door prize, and light refreshments will be served. A selection of 22 photos will be sold by silent auction. High resolution photo reprints in 16” x 20” frames and four 30” x 40” gator board prints are available.
