Against the Spruce Mountain Phoenix in Jay Monday, Seahawk junior Meghan Leeman scored off an assist by sophomore Avery Barter but Spruce Mountain (2-1-2) prevailed, 2-1, in overtime behind goals from Ella Plourde and Paris Howes.

Boothbay goalie, senior tri-captain Jaelyn Crocker, kept the Seahawks (1-2) close, turning away 16 shots on goal.

After a schedule home game against Winthrop on Wednesday, Sept. 15, Boothbay will play at Dirigo on Friday, Sept. 17 and host Mountain Valley on Monday, Sept. 20 in a make-up game rained out on Sept. 10.
