Arrests

On June 15 at 11:59 p.m. on Howard St.,  Officer Braley arrested Aaron Carroll, 30, Brandon, Florida, for operating under the influence.

On June 16 at 8:33 p.m. on Oak St., Officer Snyder arrested Rolando Mejia, 31, Southport, for operating a vehicle without a license, attaching false plates, and being a fugitive from justice.

On June 27 at 6:27 p.m. on Townsend Ave., Sgt. Higgins arrested Francois Ciza, 44, Boothbay Harbor, on a warrant for failure to appear.

Summary Report

From June 3 through June 30, Boothbay Harbor police officers responded to 357 calls. They conducted 13 911 checks, one 911 transfer, 30 compliance checks, two property checks, 23 escort/transports, four med take backs, 60 motor vehicle stops, two pedestrian checks, and four welfare checks. They controlled traffic 20 times, were on special detail six times, received police information nine times, assisted four other agencies, attempted to locate one person, and performed community policing five times.
