Arrests

On Aug. 1 at 11:30 p.m., on Lakeside Drive, Officer Snyder arrested Vlad Palli, 22, of Yarmouth, on a warrant for being a fugitive from justice.

On Aug. 11 at 8:27 p.m. on Townsend Avenue, Officer Chryplewicz arrested James Brown, 52, of Boothbay Harbor, for operating under the influence.

On Aug. 27 at 4:03 p.m. on Oak Street, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Justin Pfeifer, 32, of Southport, for violation of conditions of release and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

On Aug. 27 at 9:57 p.m. on Oak Street, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Jessica Winslow, 31, of Boothbay Harbor, for being a fugitive from justice.

On Aug. 30 at 4:03 p.m. on Oak Street, Officer Chryplewicz arrested Jessica Winslow, 31, of Boothbay Harbor, for violation of conditions of release and unlawful possession of a scheduled drug.

Summary Report

From July 29 through Sept. 8, Boothbay Harbor police officers responded to 585 calls. They conducted 56 911 checks, nine compliance checks, 15 property checks, 11 welfare checks, one drug investigation, 52 escort/transports, four LCRC intakes, 61 motor vehicle stops, and five medicine take backs. They controlled traffic 11 times, attempted to locate one person, were on special detail twice, received police information 21 times, performed community policing 14 times and assisted 23 citizens, three other agencies, marine patrol, and with four community paramedicine visits. They also responded to one abandoned motor vehicle, 30 animal complaints, six burglar alarms, three civil complaints, two criminal mischief complaints, four disabled motor vehicles, two domestic disturbances, eight erratic operations, 23 fire alarms, five fires, three fights, one fireworks complaint, four harassment complaints, five juvenile problems, nine loud noise complaints, five liquor law violations, 79 medical emergencies, six medical alarms, two mental subjects, 28 motor vehicle accidents, nine parking problems, one parking enforcement, 16 found/lost property reports, three suicidal persons, eight suspicious activity reports, three traffic hazards, 11 theft/forgery/fraud reports, one threat, two trespassing complaints, four unwanted subjects, one violation of bail conditions, and two warrant arrests.
