Boothbay Harbor elects Allen, Lorrain

    Boothbay Harbor elected two new selectmen and six other town officers kept their seats May 7. Alyssa Allen won the one-year term special election for selectman over Devyn Campbell, 190-103 and 14 blanks. Ken Rayle, unopposed, was elected to the select board for a three-year term, 251 votes with 56 blanks.

    Incumbent Steve Lorrain retained his seat on the Boothbay-Boothbay Harbor Community School District Board of Trustees defeating James Crane 201-64 with 42 blanks. All other candidates ran unopposed: incumbent Stephanie Hawke, BB-BBH CSD School Committee, 239 votes, 68 blanks; incumbent Isabelle Lewis, BB-BBH Cemetery Board of Trustees, 271 votes, 36 blanks; incumbent Nell Tharpe, Boothbay Region Water District Board of Trustees (at large), 270 votes, 37 blanks; incumbent James Stormont, Boothbay Harbor Sewer District Board of Trustees, 263 votes, 43 blanks; and Jay D. Warren, BHSD two-year special election, 275 votes, 31 blanks.
