Sat, 02/20/2021 - 12:30pm

The Boothbay Region Seahawks improved to 4-5 on the season with a convincing 68-43 win over the Hall-Dale Bulldogs Friday, Feb. 19 in Farmingdale.

“We switched out our defense and Kaleb Ames controlled their point guard, which limited what they were able to do on offense,” said coach Dan Hallinan.

Boothbay got good scoring from three players, with Sullivan Rice netting 18, followed by Gryffin Kristan with 17 (including four 3-pointers), and Ben Pearce with 16.

The Seahawks have three scheduled games left in the season. They will be at Monmouth on Thursday, Feb. 25 at 7 p.m., at Lincoln Academy on Friday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m., and at home on Thursday, March 4 at 6 p.m.
