Appreciative of the region’s people

Mon, 06/18/2018 - 5:15pm

    Dear Editor:

The expression “sometimes it takes a village” is so true in my case. The love, support and caring from my village, my community has kept me fighting this battle.

I know there is a knee out there somewhere, I just have to find it (Amazon.com?). I still continue on to win this war.

I think the best people in the world are right here in the Boothbay region, including the wonderful folks at the St. Andrews Urgent Care campus. The moment I rolled in until I rolled out, each and every person was caring, knowledgeable, respectful, helpful and understanding in every way. My FISH drivers – some are old friends, some are new friends – are wonderful. I am sure we will meet again before this is over. I love the music. Meals on Wheels  is awesome – from the prep people to delivery people. I look forward each day to the service. And we are blessed to have the Community Center – such beautiful people, you have touched my soul with love.

My family and friends have been my constants. They make me feel loved. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
