The Boothbay Railway Village Museum and The Boothbay Region Information Center wish to extend a tremendous thank you to the generous volunteers who made the 53rd annual Fall Foliage Festival (Oct. 9-10) a huge success.

The event welcomed more than 3,000 people in two days, and a great time was had by all. It was so wonderful to be a part of a community gathering again, where everyone was enjoying being together, while respecting one another’s space, and varying comfort levels. Our team put a lot of time and effort into designing a format that provided ample open space for all, and it paid off to see so many happy faces.

We received a note from one of our vendors, Jane Junkert of JaJu Studios, that sums up the weekend perfectly:

“'Thank you so much for the wonderful weekend! It was so organized and well thought out that it all happened so smoothly.

“I appreciate all the time and efforts that went into planning an event like this! The grounds are beautiful, the music was grand and the people all seemed to be having such a great time! Again I say, Thank You”
