Karen Carr enjoys holiday goodies by the tree decorated with ornaments created by our residents
In honor of the life and work created by fellow resident, artist and teacher, Katherine Cobey.
Resident Phil Cameron talks about the book he compiled of his life stories.
Resident Gina Rose, wearing a work of art, enjoys a sampling of holiday foods. A talented artist, her lovely art was also on display.
Residents at Lincoln Home enjoyed a festive celebration of art and crafts to celebrate the holiday season. Local artist and potter, Hannah Ineson, and Two Twenty Eight Earring Co. from Bristol, shared their crafts. Residents participated with paintings, drawings, a Memoire of life stories and hand crafted ornaments. Residents had fun dressing up for the occasion, complete with delicious hors d'oeuvres, wine and beverages. A display of work was exhibited to honor fellow resident, artist and teacher, Katherine Cobey, who recently passed. Katherine, whose work was exhibited nationally, was well known in the Maine fiber arts community for creating sculptural objects as works of art, wearable clothing and installation pieces.
