Changing Aging: Helping you live healthy, connected & prepared

Sunday, September 22  |  12:30-3:30 p.m.

Boothbay Region YMCA

We plan for many things in our life. We have baby showers, birthday parties, weddings, save for college and search for homes, but we often avoid planning for our last stages of life. Local organizations have joined forces to offer Changing Aging, an event to help residents in our communities to live healthy, connected and prepared.  The event is open to all Lincoln County residents and caregivers. Adult children are encouraged to attend with their parents and loved ones. Those serving our older population can expect to connect with their peers and community resources.

Attendees can visit informational booths and/or attend breakout sessions. Event highlights include:

  • Free flu shots
  • Free, simple haircuts
  • Appetizers and refreshments
  • Talk about advance planning
  • Medication questions answered by a pharmacist
  • Learn about local health care resources and senior living options
  • Chat with home modification experts
  • And more!
