The Friends of the WPL host a monthly book discussion on the third Friday at 10:15 in the Library’s Fiction Room. This Thursday, April 19, the Friends will have a book share. Everyone brings something that they have read and share it: talk about the book, read a selection from the book, or bring something to share about the author.

On Friday, May 17, the Friends will do another book share.

On every third month, there will be a common read. On Friday, June 21, everyone will have read A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline. Kline’s book is a fictional memoir of the relationship between artist Andrew Wyeth and Christina Olson. Wyeth used Christina as the model for many of his works of art, including Christina’s World. The group will also have the chance to visit the Olson House. Come to the April meeting for more details.
