7-24 Pianst/Soloist Timothy Noble at St. Andrews Village
Timothy Noble, a 19-year-old gospel pianist, will perform at St. Andrews Village on Tuesday, July 24th.
Timothy Noble began playing the piano at the age of three. It was then that his parents started noticing his God-given musical talent when he began playing on the piano the hymns he had heard in church. He was enrolled at that young age in a program called Music for Young Children in which he participated until he began private piano lessons at the age of six.
His public playing began at age 10 when he was invited to play a piano solo at an event held in Indiana called the "Grand Piano Extravaganza", with five nationally known gospel pianists. At age 12, Timothy recorded his first piano CD entitled “Honoring God”. He participates in the National Quartet Convention, which is an annual event held in Pigeon Forge, TN, where he has been honored to play in the Artist Showcases and has also been selected to play on the main stage in a program called the "The Parade of Pianos".
He is known for his powerfully moving piano-picture presentations that honor God through his playing, singing, narration and pictures. This musical gift flows from his heart and is seen in his love of the hymns and gospel music of which he has done his own arrangements under the direction of his piano instructor.
The concert is free; however for planning purposes we ask attendees to RSVP by calling the Village at 633-0920. Summertime ice-cream treats will be served following the concert.
