What is Wings Over Wiscasset 2.0?
Wings Over Wiscasset is a free and open to the public interactive history event happening August 8-9. It’s focused on educating children about aviation, our military history and local heroes.
The events also aims to raise awareness about veterans needs and the missions of local nonprofits aimed at helping children and seniors.
Get out in the during this open-air interactive historical museum, and see representatives from several military museums, including an operational World War II reenactment base camp; experience the World War II Warbird Airshow and Warbird Fly-In, live music, fireworks, activities and presentations for children, seniors, families and veterans.
