Carmolli graduates from SMCC
Marissa Carmolli of Edgecomb graduated from Southern Maine Community College on May 17 with a degree in architectural and engineering design. She graduated with honors and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. Carmolli currently works as the laboratory coordinator at Mid Coast Hospital and hopes to incorporate her new degree into her position. She lives with her husband Rick and children Ethan and Ava in Edgecomb.

Chloe Hoecker receives Malama Robbins Award
At its June 9 meeting, the Lincoln Arts Festival awarded Boothbay Region High School graduate Chloe Hoecker the Malama Robbins scholarship award. The honor and $1,000 scholarship are awarded annually to a local student who has contributed significantly to the music program at the high school and is pursuing music in higher education. Foster gives graduation speech at Deck House School
"To be or not" was the theme on Saturday afternoon, May 30 when Bob Foster spoke to the graduating class of the Deck House School in Edgecomb. Edgecomb resident graduates from Lewis & Clark College
Seth P. Musich of Edgecomb graduated with a bachelor’s degree in international affairs at Lewis & Clark College’s 142nd commencement ceremony, held on May 9 in Portland, Oregon. Boothbay Region Student Aid Fund awards $308,500 in scholarships
The Boothbay Region Student Aid Fun (BRSAF) awarded 30 scholarships to graduates of Boothbay Region High School, class of 2015. The scholarships were presented during awards night, May 27 by BRSAF Board President Sue Norton and Vice President Rob Wheeler.This year, 74 awards totaling $308,500 were issued. Boothbay Region Land Trust has selected two students as the recipients of the Barge/McKee Scholarship. Kimberly Gordon graduated from the Boothbay Region High School in 2012. Brenna Alley: Turning a negative into a positive
Top 10 Senior Brenna Alley has seen her fair share of hospitals. In her sophomore year, she was hospitalized at Mid Coast Hospital in Brunswick and had to have her gallbladder removed.
