    Festival of Lights Click thru
Just one month until Gardens Aglow opens and the Boothbay Festival of Lights begins! Are you ready for the 36,000+ visitors to the region??

HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN BE DOING THIS WEEK to actively market your business and get ready for the Festival!

Do you have a décor plan? Work on getting what you need to decorate
your business inside and out. Evaluate how your business looks at night
      - is your sign readable? Does your business clearly look open? Is it
      warm and inviting?

Implement your décor plan by November 10th. We chose this date
because it's a week before Gardens Aglow opens, which will give you extra time to see what others are doing, and make adjustments as needed.

If you use Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, make sure your page's
"About" info is up to date and reflects your correct hours during the Festival of Lights.

If you have a website, make sure it's updated to reflect that you are open, and has your correct hours for the Festival of Lights.

Add the Boothbay Festival of Lights logo [http://boothbaylights.com/client-showcase] to your website.

Hang the poster in your window, use the stickers and the decals on your car, and anywhere else you can!

Are you listed, and is your listing correct, on the Boothbay Festival
of Lights website [http://www.boothbaylights.com/]? If you're not listed and would like to be,
complete this Google Form [https://goo.gl/forms/loQiAieRp45uRBq72]. If you need to make edits, email whitney@greentreeevents.com

Have you joined the Facebook group, 'Boothbay Region Winter Tourism
[https://www.facebook.com/groups/289867914694235/]'. It's a great way to hear the latest updates. Just request to join the group via your Facebook page and we'll add you in!

If you have an email list, send an email to them, letting them know
you'll be open during the Festival of Lights, advertising what specials
you have, and pointing them to other attractions in the area and the Boothbay Festival of Lights website.

Plan to post on your Facebook/Twitter 3 times in the next week - try
to include images with your posts. One post should be about your
business during the Festival of Lights. One post should be about another
business that's open during the Festival of Lights. The last post should
be about something unique and special to the region that visitors should
make sure they check out when they come for the Festival of Lights. Make sure to include #boothbaylights and #gardensaglow in each post.

Are you, or is someone you know, willing to volunteer their time to help us construct some wayfaring signage for the Festival of Lights?

Email whitney@greentreeevents.com if you know of someone who can help!
