Mrs. Spaulding’s kindergarten class presented a colorful (and adorable) rendition of “The Night Before Christmas” on Friday, Dec. 9 in their classroom. 

Before their 1:30 show that afternoon, the children had already performed it for Pre-K and the first grade.

“They are very excited, and ...,” gesturing tears, Spaulding said, “I am so lucky.”

Spaulding couldn’t count the years she’d been presenting the play, but this writer can recall her eldest in the cast of Mrs. Spaulding’s first grade class of the 1992-1993 school year!

And now to the list of players  ... starting with the narrators — Brady Baldwin as Father, Beatrice Wormwood as the Mouse, Carson Cook as the child, Brielle Green as (appropriately enough) the Tree, Miles Hyson as the Present and Kayden Bishop as Santa Claus. Playing the quick-flying reindeer were Xaviera Hall, Spencer Wade, Alexiyah Poliquin, Shea Fritz, Olivia Hardwick, Ava Barter, Ryder Campbell and Bryce Thiboutot. 

After the performance, the cast of characters gathered in front of the fireplace on “the set” for photos. And, thanks to Rita Arnold, Mrs. Spaulding was included in a final round of Kodak moments.
