Hundreds upon hundreds of children and adults participated in the Boothbay Harbor Memorial Library’s annual Halloween Parade on Tuesday, Oct. 31. The line stretched from the first candy stop at Bath Savings at the corner of Todd Avenue and McKown Street to the last stop in front of Ae Ceramics, across from the Good ’N You Mobil station.

People dressed as witches, goblins, various animals and cartoon characters and some costumes were actually scary. One merchant along the parade route said she purchased $26o worth of candy and was hoping she wasn’t going to run out by the time the parade ended.

The Boothbay Harbor Police Department handled traffic while the 90-minute parade was in progress.

Great fun for the kids and community.
