Wrong message?

    Dear Editor:

This time of year people from all over the world visit our beautiful region to enjoy its natural beauty. It’s a pleasure to share.

Every time I drive by the sign on Oak St. that reads, Black Rifles Matter, I cringe at the perceived message it sends to people visiting our little town. Should the movement of Black Lives Matter be paired with a sign picturing a military style AR 15 rifle? Racism is real.

I understand the passion for voting no on question 3 some may feel. We are all entitled to our opinions. But why choose a symbol of hate to relay an opinion? With freedom comes responsibility. People coming from out of town don’t understand what question #3 is. Blatant signs may send the wrong message.
