Dear Editor:.

Independent Wendy Wolf shined at the Great State Debate in Boothbay Harbor on Oct 18. While the other candidates were better known to many, Wendy handled herself with great poise and demonstrated to all that she is a most capable and strong candidate for House District 89 which includes Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Southport, Edgecomb, Westport and part of South Bristol. Her knowledge, skill and demeanor, along with her impressive background in healthcare and healthcare policy, left the audience quite impressed.

With her position as an Independent, she can avoid much of the partisanship that seems all to common in state politics. We are lucky to have her talents and the talents of the other fine candidates. All are a credit to our region.

With her skills, background and independent status, Wendy Wolf would no doubt be a vigorous, energetic and powerful force for us in Augusta.
