William A. Dodge

William Alden “Bull” Dodge, 67, of East Boothbay died Dec. 18, 2014.

Bull was born May 7, 1946 and lived his whole life in East Boothbay. He attended local schools.

He worked for Richard “Pye” Lewis, helping with masonry, Jimmy Juliano on the docks in Boothbay Harbor, and was a sternman for Lawrence Durfee for many years.

He looked forward to going to his cousin Frank’s camp in Alna every year for deer hunting and Thanksgiving.

Bull had a giant heart and would do anything for anyone. There will be many stories and laughter for many years to come. He will be missed by many but mostly by his cat, Oscar.

Bull was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Dodge, and father, William Simerson, brother, Alan Dodge, and sister, Ann Dodge.

He is survived by his twin brother, Wallace, and cousins, Frank Stevens of Boothbay, Pat Stevens of Bath, Eleanor Peaslee of Boothbay Harbor, Berkley Western of Walpole and David Dodge of Bath.

A celebration of life will be at the East Boothbay United Methodist Church on Saturday, Jan. 3 at 11 a.m.
